Dheeraj Sangal, Director of the Forensic Investigations division at Netrika Consulting India Pvt Ltd, carries 15+ years of risk consulting experience assisting retail/commercial/investment banks, private equity firms and corporate houses on assignments in global research involving counterparty/third-party/senior management integrity due diligence/Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Know Your Customer (KYC) On-boarding and Periodic Reviews, primarily covering issues of reputational & ethical conduct, financial and corruption exposure, compliance, sanctions and pep/govt., exposure, behavioural and conflict management, amongst others.

Before joining Netrika’s FI team, Dheeraj was part of the Forensics team at PricewaterhouseCoopers for over four years and led the third-party due diligence practice. He had earlier worked with Deloitte and KPMG in their due diligence practices and was also a part of Deutsche Bank’s Asia-Pacific AML/KYC practice. Dheeraj has undertaken 50,000+ due diligence assignments on companies and key principals across sectors, primarily assisting clients in mitigating regulatory, operational, financial and compliance risks by conducting a detailed investigation on the targets and articulating findings on the target’s ownership structure, line of business, source of wealth/fund, negative news, regulatory defaults/actions, sanctions and litigation profile.
