Cdr. Kartik Vig is the Director of the Security & Risk Consulting division at Netrika Consulting India and is based out of the Noida office.

He is an M. Sc in Nautical Sciences from Cochin University of Science & Technology and holds a Diploma in Shipping Management from Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping, Mumbai and a certificate course in Business Administration from Amity University, Noida.

Among his other professional courses and certifications, he holds certifications from Industry Qualifications, UK, for Lead Auditor as well as External verifier. He is a Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 from BSI, a certified crime prevention specialist and a certified corporate security management specialist from ASIRS, Singapore and Global Light House Certification Auditor from Sky Touch Global Hotel Security Consulting, Australia. He has also done his BCP course from DRI, USA.

He is an Indian Navy Veteran, and prior to joining Netrika, he was working with BDO India LLP in the capacity of Director - Business Advisory Services. His past experience includes having worked with various reputed business houses like PwC (part of G&PS – Advisory) and Indianeye Security Pvt. Ltd. (ISL) as VP - Business Development. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of technology and security solutions.

Over the years, he has accrued a wealth of experience across domains that lie at the convergence of multiple fields and competencies. These include technology, security & safety, business development, Defence Procurement Procedure (DPP)/FET/SQRs, solution-based strategic selling, and management consulting, among others. His expertise lies in the area of technology-based security & safety solutions, preparation and conduct of security audits, fire safety assessments, automation & surveillance solutions, business development, mitigation of risks, homeland security, skill development, international certification – individual & organisation, project management, defence procurement, management consulting, etc. to name a few. Having served in the Indian Navy, he has a thorough knowledge of Government procedures, processes and functions and has interacted with various Ministries, such as MoD, MHA, MoS, MoP&NG, MNRE, DGH, DGS, etc. He also has vast experience in the conduct of training and development of curriculum, which spans his time in the Navy as well as in the Corporate. The recent development is a course called ‘Masterclass on Physical Security’. He has been conducting training on behavioural sciences and security.

In his corporate career, he has managed/executed and been a part of many high-profile projects dealing with designing technology-based solutions, enterprise-wide solutions, ERP solutions, the conduct of security and fire safety audits/assessments, preparation of detailed project reports, risk assessments etc. for clients across industries which include MNCs and Defence organisations.

He is an avid reader and a keen swimmer.
